A Guide to Tantra Yoga

Tantra yoga is one of the many different types of yoga that exist today, and in fact one of the most popular. It is basically a holistic approach to the study of the universal, from the point of view of individual. In other words it is a very personal type of yoga, one that differs in perception from one person to another.

The Basics of Tantra Yoga

Tantra yoga really works by drawing on all of the different sciences, including physiognomy, astronomy, astrology, numerology, physics, chemistry, alchemy, psychology, mathematics, and so on. It uses all of these sciences in order to draw upon and provide a practical means of realizing the highest ideals of philosophy in daily life.

There is a basic aim and purpose of Tantra yoga, which is to expand overall awareness in terms of all states of consciousness, and in order for this to be able to be accomplished there is a sort of deprogramming and reprogramming of the mind which needs to take place.

Tantra yoga provides the methodology that is required in order to make this work, as it teaches us to be able to properly identify the various different factors that influence our thoughts and feelings, and as well to transcend the obstacles to our evolution. This includes everything that arises from ignorance, intolerance and attachment to our human nature, and truly, by refining our thoughts and feelings by means of these practices, we are thus able to learn how to create peace and harmony in our own and others¡¯ lives.

Yoga is truly the only exercise that is able to benefit you physically, emotionally and spiritually, and so if you have not already tried it, you definitely should, so that you can reap the numerous benefits that it has to offer you.

There are also other types of yoga besides Tantra, so you can decide from them all in order to choose the one that is going to work best for you, as each offers its own separate benefits and advantages as well as methods of teaching.
